Following its January 2000 announcement regarding the timeline for the discontinuation of certain Canadian indices, Standard & Poor's announced today the schedule for the final phase of this process. The indices affected include the TSX 100 (including its four sector sub-indices), TSX 200, Toronto 35 indices and the 14 Group/Sub-groups of the S&P/TSX Composite Index. After the close of business Friday, January 30, 2004 the TSX will cease to disseminate these indices.
