(EEE) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite, the S&P/TSX Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap and the S&P/TSX Capped Energy Indices after the company spinning off its producing assets into an income trust called Esprit Energy Trust September 10, 2004 Effective after the close of trading on Friday, September 17, 2004 Algoma Steel Inc. (AGA) will be added to the S&P/TSX Composite, the S&P/TSX Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap and the S&P/TSX Capped Materials Indices. Microcell Telecommunications Inc. (MT.B) will be added to the S&P/TSX Composite, the S&P/TSX Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap, the S&P/TSX Capped Telecommunication Services Indices. NovaGold Resources Inc. (NG) will be added to the S&P/TSX Composite, the S&P/TSX Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap, the S&P/TSX Capped Materials and the S&P/TSX Capped Gold Indices. Transat A.T., Inc. (TRZ) will be added to the S&P/TSX Composite, the S&P/TSX Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap and the S&P/TSX Capped Industrials Indices. Western Silver Corp. (WTC) will be added to the S&P/TSX Composite, the S&P/TSX Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap and the S&P/TSX Capped Materials and the Diversified Metals & Mining Indices. Bennett Environment Inc. August 26, 2004 Effective after the close of business on Friday, August 27, 2004 SouthernEra Resources Limited will be replaced by the spinoff company Southern Platinum Corp. July 12, 2004 Effective after the close of business on Friday, July 16, 2004 Research In Motion Ltd. (RIM) will be added to the S&P/TSX 60 and 60 Capped Indices and removed from the S&P/TSX MidCap Index. Royal Group Technologies Ltd. (RYG) will be removed from the S&P/TSX 60 and 60 Capped Indices and added to the S&P/TSX MidCap Index. July 5, 2004 Effective after the close of trading on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 Progress Energy Trust (PGX.UN) will be added to the S&P/TSX Capped Income Trust and the S&P/TSX Capped Energy Trust Indices. Progress Energy Ltd. (PGX) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite, the S&P/TSX Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap and the S&P/TSX Capped Energy Indices. Cequel Energy Inc. (CQL) will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite, the S&P/TSX Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX SmallCap and the S&P/TSX Capped Energy Indices.
